This website is owned and operated by the West Indian Social Club of Hartford, Inc. (WestIndianSocialClub.org). It serves as a hub for promoting Celebration Week events alongside those hosted by our community partners. Notably, we collaborate with Taste of the Caribbean Arts & Culture, Inc. (TasteCT.org) and the West Indian Independence Celebrations, Inc. (WIICHartford.org). Though we are three distinct organizations, we share a common mission: celebrating and preserving the vibrant culture of Caribbean people in Connecticut.

 

Each summer, we encourage the Caribbean Diaspora to take a well-earned work break—to celebrate, educate, and preserve traditions. These festivities not only honor culture but also bring economic benefits to Hartford and the State of Connecticut. We look forward to seeing you this summer—thank you!
